I visited JSTOR to see if the journal library had anything on graphic authorship. I felt, due to the nature of the subject and the fact it does not seem to be an established term, journals may provide a better context for the debate around the subject.
The only article that came up for graphic authorship was from Christina De Almeida and Steven McCarthy. The article was about design pedagogy, and how inputting graphic authorship into teaching design can be beneficial to a new wave of designers. This article is not quite what I need as a reference, however it is still useful to help inform my argument.
